We measured the cocking effort with the metal spring, and it was 35 lbs. (Gamo lists it at 30 lbs.).
Velocity will vary depending on the type of ammo you use:
.22: 950 fps with PBA, 750 fps with lead (our tests show 720 fps with 14-grain pellets)
