The Gamo shadow express is by far the best air gun iv'e ever had. i use it for bird hunting all the time, its also good for squirrel. the shot shells are amazing, i like refilling theme with #8 shot. The biggest bird ive killed with it is a quail, i shot most of my birds @ about 15-20 yards, you always want to be as close as possible with this gun cause it only comes with about 20 bbs  in there so you again may want to refill them with#8. The 22. cal pellets are also pretty good with this gun (for having a smooth bore) All in all this is by far worth the money and will have a life time of hunting and injoyment. So pick one up fast cause Gamo is DISCONTINUING THIS GUN u may have to buy it online.
